Felipe Ignacio Umaña Cerón has an outstanding career in the agricultural and commercial sectors. He is a Veterinarian with a Master’s in Food Science from the University of Queensland, Australia, and has over 18 years of experience in international negotiations, foreign trade, and agricultural cooperation.
Throughout his career, he has held key positions at Chile’s Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG), where he led the coordination of sanitary and trade negotiations to enhance Chilean product access to international markets. His work has been instrumental in facilitating trade and strengthening cooperation with various sanitary and trade agencies worldwide. Before assuming his role as Commercial Attaché, he served as Head of the Trade and International Cooperation Subdepartment at SAG’s International Affairs Division, managing bilateral agreements and leading trade missions.

- Diploma in Trade Policy and Agricultural International Trade, University of Chile.
- Diploma in Project Evaluation, Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.

Since February 16, 2025, he has led the Commercial and Agricultural Office of the Embassy of Chile in Seoul, aiming to strengthen Chile’s presence in the Korean market, facilitate bilateral cooperation, and support Chilean companies in expanding into Asia.
