Mr. Jorge Carvajal San Martín
- Permanent Representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, OPCW.
- Geographer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, graduate of the Andrés Bello Diplomatic Academy. Has courses at the Academy of International Law in The Hague, at the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, and Political Science at the University of Stockholm.
- During his career he has served as Director of the Middle East and Africa Division, Head of the Argentine Unit in the South America Division, in addition to having served in the International Security Division, among others.
- Abroad, he has served in the Chilean Mission to International Organizations based in Vienna, the Chilean embassies to the Kingdom of the Netherlands; the United Kingdom; the Kingdom of Sweden; Romania; and Israel, where he served as ambassador until his appointment as Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
