Ambassador Tucapel Jiménez presented his Letters of Credence to King Carl XVI Gustaf
The new diplomatic representative of Chile in Sweden, Ambassador Tucapel Jiménez, presented yesterday, 24 August 2022, a copy of his Letters of Credence before King Carl XVI Gustaf, monarch of the country.
The ceremony took place in the Royal Palace in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. King Carl XVI Gustaf, in addition to receiving the Ambassador's Letters of Credence, also received the diplomats assigned from the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Romania and Turkey.
When King Carl XVI Gustaf received the Ambassador, he wore the High Cross of the Order of Merit with a chain, a symbol awarded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile to honour foreign citizens who provide notable services to the Republic.
